Privacy Policy

devngn.ai is built human-first, and that includes your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the control you keep over it. The short version: nothing personal is stored until you opt in, we read your calendar as free/busy only, and you can export or delete everything at any time.

What we collect

Only after you explicitly opt in, and only what the feature needs:

• Wellness profile: baseline, preferred intensity, and notes you choose to provide.
• Goals and progress: the goals you set and the movement breaks you complete.
• Equipment: the gear you register as available to you.
• Schedule signals: free/busy windows from a connected calendar, or events you push yourself, used to find real gaps.
• Account basics: an identifier from your sign-in provider so your data is yours.

What we don't collect

• We do not read the titles, attendees, or contents of your calendar events, only free/busy availability.
• We don't sell your data, and we don't use it for advertising.
• We don't store anything personal before you opt in.

How we use it

Your data powers the core experience: detecting genuine gaps in your day, tailoring five-second movement prompts to your profile and equipment, and tracking streaks, goals, and progress so it's real and reviewable.

Sharing and social features

Wellness is better together, but it's opt-in. Goals and streaks are private to you unless you choose to share them with a team or teammates. You control what is shared and can stop sharing at any time.

Third-party connections

• Calendar providers (e.g., Google, Microsoft): accessed for free/busy availability only, with your authorization.
• Sign-in: handled through your chosen provider (such as GitHub) using standard OAuth.

These providers process data under their own privacy policies. You can revoke their access from your provider's settings at any time.

Storage and hosting

Your wellness data is stored in the project's hosted database. The vendor registry and marketing pages are public and contain no personal data. On the marketing site, local storage is used only to remember your light/dark theme preference. That's it.

Your control

• Export: you can request a copy of your data.
• Delete: you can delete all of it whenever you want, and withdrawing consent stops further collection.

Children

devngn.ai is intended for professional developers and is not directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update the "last updated" date above. Significant changes will be highlighted where appropriate.
